I have resorted to installing the update package manually, so now have 2.1.2 on all sites. Hopefully the next update will work, but not too soon please!


Do the other update sites also use https ?

I'm having this same issue (Joomla 3.6.5 as well) but in my case the update site is actually missing from the Update Sites list. It is not trashed or disabled. I am not sure how it managed to get deleted but is there any way I can re-add it manually?

Just install over CB, it should add it to the update sites list.

I'm also having this issue, on two sites. Both have the same error. I've checked as per the suggestions above (Update Sites list). Any other suggestions? Would you like admin details to investigate?

I had the same problem (Joomla 3.6.5).
I have other modules that updates fine with HTTPS.
I have manually installed version 2.1.2 and it worked for me.
In the CB Control panel it shows me my current version: 2.1.2+build.2017.01.23.20.23.56.a4fce17be

FYI: But in latest version it shows: There was a problem with the request
