Error message on import of com_comprofiler.zip

9 years 8 months ago #247177 by asdata
I get this message on trying to import " com_comprofiler.zip " through the Import function/tab in phpMyAdmin.
The other files - mod_cblogin.zip; mod_comprofilermoderator.zip; and mod_comprofileronline.zip - all seemed to load OK.

Why is it so?

com_comprofiler.zip is a Joomla component that needs to be installed using the Joomla Extensions Installer - phpmyadmin has no roll in the installation and of course has no idea what com_comprofiler.zip is.

Where did you see that you should use phpmyadmin to do this?

Thanks for response nant. I think it was through XAMPP Control Panel . . .

I have since sorted things out by following the manual.

Should have read the book first, hey?
