Error when saving user record - BLOB/TEXT error

7 years 1 month ago #292004 by Intellitech
Hi Team.

We seem to be encountering the attached error when saving user records.

Attachment not found

Could you advise what might be causing this issue that prompts "The size of BLOB/TEXT data inserted in one transaction is greater than 10% of redo log size. etc....."
Is it a data field issue or data entered in a certain field type issue?

Also just to ask, there is this "Params" field in the exported user records with the forward slash, 0 and curly braces ( { ). Do these have to do with the data that is being updated or entered into the fields set up for the user profile??

Appreciate some suggestions on how can this be fixed.

No idea, you didn't provide the full error. Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting then retry to see what error is occurring and provide the full error. Could be Innodb isn't setup correctly on your host or your database/tables aren't configured correctly.

User params were likely broken for awhile. Don't know what in Joomla caused it, but only recently Joomla started erroring on them. Within phpmyadmin reset all params columns to {} in the _users database table to fix it.
