CB in local installation environment

CB in local installation environment was created by kolvi
Dear CB´ler,
i reinstalled all in a new Joomla setupwith a local server environment (MAMP / Mac).
Anytime I try to change from BE to FE and to either login or register new, I receive the message that ".../index.php was not found on this server"...
additional info:
switching from FE to backend the url reads: "/localhost:8888/WEB-Projekt%20LGA/" and the FE is displayed... now trying to login as admin on the CB-login module (Joomla module deactivated) the URL reads: "/localhost:8888/WEB-Projekt%20LGA/WEB-Projekt%20LGA/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=login&Itemid=185" and the above text shown that "index.php was not found..."
Are there additional things to consider if installing CB locally?

I'm guessing you've live_site configuration within configuration.php. CB uses the base domain path that Joomla provides it. You should also avoid using spaces in root paths.
