Grey box in profile was created by counterpoint
I have a site that shows the CB profile for users. But there is a grey box beneath the status. Is there a way to turn it off please?

That's the canvas as part of the canvas layout. Unpublish the Canvas tab within CB > Tab Management if you don't want to use it. I don't recommend using any of the Canvas tab positions if you don't intend to use the Canvas Layout though.
