[#6462] Show Number of Connections who added me

7 years 2 months ago - 7 years 2 months ago #290553 by Mx150
Hi Community Builder Team,

i really love community builder with all his functions, it is very great. I have 1 question you maybe can anser me.

In my Community case i have the option "only one way connection" on. So the User can add a person as frient but the person does not automaticly add the person back. This works great for me. But now comes the problem.

In Profil Page i show Number for connections that i did with a user.
But i want also to show Number of connections that users have with me. Like this:

Persons i added as Friend 50
Persons that added me as Friend 20

Hope you can help me showing the number of persons who added me as friend.

Thanks for any help and greetings from germany.

Connections field only shows how many connections you have in general. It doesn't have the functionality to show like you're wanting. For that you'd need to use CB Query Field and query for that information. However this would be a good addition to the Connections field and have added a feature ticket for this.

Community Builder is free.

CB Query field is not. You can purchase it by itself or as part of a Professional subscription.

Hello Nant,

thanks for the answer. Yes i use the free Version of community builder.

But if i buy Cb Query.. how can i handle the output then?

Which Database field do i have to query? I dont find any Number that counts the connections that users have with me.

SELECT ?? FROM Table?? WHERE user = CbUser

Or is it not possible at this time to output the number of connections users have with me?

Greetings and hoping for your help..
