Phone Field & Profile URL Fields are Scrambled

Phone Field & Profile URL Fields are Scrambled was created by geeksonthebeach
We have a field that apparently once showed Phone Numbers. Now it seems to be configured to accept only urls for a CB Profiles. Not sure how it happened or how to fix it.
In the front end, the phone field shows a combination of phone numbers and non-working urls (screenshot attached).
From the admin field, the Phone Field only accepts URLS.
When I try to edit the field, it specified as "Predefined name and username fields" and it isn't editable.
My guess is that it used to be a working Phone field that accepted numerals and it's somehow been corrupted and merged with a url.
I have run the two dbase CB Tools: Check Core CB database. There were some issues that CB reports are now fixed but with the same mixed-up results.
Anyone help me unscramble this mess?

Please see the below. You must have migrated when this was still an issue. Latest CB builds do not have this problem with creating the Profile URL (alias) field.
