registration not work

Hi
I have followed the instructions and switched off core Joomla registration and selected allow user registration as "yes independent " however when I go to the registration form, fill it and press sign up, the page gets refreshed and nothing happens.
No registration happens. When I check the user management of CB , there is no pending users there. No email is also received. Nothing happens except a page refresh. Please help.

Worked perfectly fine in my test on your own site. If the registration form redisplays it typically means you've hit a validation error. Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then switch back to default Joomla protostar template and retest to expose any errors.

hi
yes after the debug I realised its working and I was putting in wrong password. Is there someway I can display validation error so other users can only realise the mistake they are making? Thank you
