Hello Everyone,

I am community builder newbie and i was wondering how can I create a custom form? If I am not mistaking, new fields can be made via the field management tab, but then how do I create a new form and link these fields to that form? Also how do I create a new field type?

I know that people's time is valuable here so if someone would like to point me to the documentation(as I unfortunately could not find it) that would be great. Full explanations though are greatly appreciated hahaha

Thank you in advance

Correct.

but then how do I create a new form and link these fields to that form?

You can't as CB isn't a form creation extension. Those fields are simply added to your registration form. If you're wanting custom forms you'll need to use an extension like RSForms.

Also how do I create a new field type?

You would need to develop a new CB plugin to add a new field type.

So if I get RSForms.PRO could I link the fields to CB fields and use the form for crm managment?
Or it is impossible to use CBuilder for crm managment?
Thanks

We've no integration with RS Forms. If they provide integration with CB then sure otherwise I've no idea. If they allow you to process the form data using PHP it's possible you could use CB API to update a users stored field value based off the data from an RS Form.
