Tab with contact form

Tab with contact form was created by dklotz
Hi there,

I'm trying to add a new tab on the profile page but somehow I'm not successfull. The tab won't show up in the profile.
It should contain a contact form in order to let visitors of my site write a note to the respective member.

Please, can somebody give me a hint how to do this?

The tab will show if it has a field in it with a value.

Fields added to tabs are for the profile owner to edit. They are not for a user viewing the profile to edit. For what you're wanting to do you probably could use the Private Message System plugin combined with the Quick Message tab to allow quick communication with the profile owner. If you need to allow non-registered users to PM registered users you'll need to enable that in Private Message System > Parameters > Internal > Create.

I can't find the Quick message tab tho. Is it an additional plugin?

It's a plugin. It is disabled by default.
