Reviewed your installation and it's working perfectly fine. Please notice within Acymailing under Lists for the Free Trial list click the number under the column Subscribers. You'll see demouser1 is subscribed which I created to test subscription to the free trial subscription. User was properly added as necessary. Am not seeing an issue.

I am so confused. I see that you created a test user and that the acymailing plugin was triggered but I created a test user yesterday and another one today, and neither of them were added to the Birthin' with Love list like your test user was. Is there a time delay from when the user subscribes to when the plugin is triggered? Why would it work sometimes and not others? You can see the two test users in the CBSubs Subscriptions, and you can see them as new users in acymailing but they are not added to the list...

How are you adding users to a subscription? Import, Backend, Frontend? Please provide more details. I don't know why it is not working for you, but I've confirmed it works perfectly fine locally and on your own installation.

If I add the user through admin backend, they are added to the appropriate list. However, if I register as a new user from the frontend, I am to the list not added. And, I've had two others try to subscribe from the frontend and they are subscribed in CBsubs, they appear as a user in acymailing, but they are not added to the appropriate list.

Please ensure the plan and the plugin are public accessible and not Registered. We use AcyMailing API to add users to the list. The only explanation is the API is not working appropriately or the plugin is not functioning at all from frontend, which is not likely. What payment method are you using from frontend? If Offline then they will not add to the list until you pay their basket.
