CBSubs stopped working after Joomla upgrade

13 years 3 weeks ago #159251 by iaate
I was contacted by a client who hired someone else to upgrade the site to the latest Joomla version. It seems that the person who upgraded the site did not perform a full backup of the site/database before rolling out the upgrade.
Once the upgrade was completed CBSubs stopped working. I have been contacted as an emergency to fix the issue but I am unsure how to proceed to get the function back.
The site is currently running on legacy because of another component. I still need to investigate what component needs legacy on.
The errors seem to be related to permissions. I get 500 errors when trying to click on the CBSubs menu link. As well as a link to the CB userlist.
CB is upgraded to 1.4 and CBSubs to 1.1.2. Joomla updated to 1.5.22.
So far I have tried reuploading CBSubs and running the tools which returns:
All CB plugin "Default language (English)" Database is up to date.

All CB plugin "CBSubs CB Field" Database is up to date.

Please enable debug mode and maximum error reporting then attempt to duplicate to see exactly what the error is. A 500 error is too generic and could simply be low PHP memory issues or a fatal query error.
