No, you need to re-create the field and its values. 1 fields values can't be used for another fields. The values are stored in _comprofiler_fields_values however so it's relatively easy to duplicate a fields values for another field; just ensure the fieldid matches up.

12 states

groningen, friesland, drenthe, overijssel, flevoland, gelderland, utrecht, noord holland, zuid holland, zeeland, noord brabant and limburg.

BUT: it would be nice if i could edit these afterwards as well....

There's no reason you can't edit them afterward. Simply edit the drop-down field you've placed them in within field management and change the values as you see fit.

totally clear. I just thought that it could be done to simply edit ONE table and have the options available in both fields...
