[SOLVED] Problem with Date Validation in Registration Form

9 years 5 months ago - 9 years 5 months ago #251854 by philgsy
I may have identified a small big with the validation of a date field when new users are trying to register on my website:

CB Version 2.0.1

Field Title: Date Of Birth
Field Name: cb_dateofbirth
Field Type: Date
Required: Yes
Read Only: Yes
Parameters/Validation: Minimum Year: 1900
Parameters/Validation: Maximum Year: -18

When user trying to register they're getting an error message:
Error - Date Of Birth: This field is required!

My CB Configuration is set to a date format of dd/mm/yy

If I change the configuration to mm/dd/yy then it works!

Any ideas what is causing this? Is not a major problem as I can leave the date format for now, but I would prefer to have the date format as dd/mm/yy once its fixes.

That works better with the nightly build.

I assume this fix get rolled up into the next release version?
