Query Drop Down value substitution in an email

6 years 4 months ago #300030 by softforge
Hi, I have a Query Drop Down which connects to a table of ids and areas.
The id is stored and is what is returned if the field is brought back in an autoaction email action body.
Is there a way to do a database lookup in an auto action so I can turn the value returned from the id to the value.

If using [FIELD_NAME] substitution you'll always see the raw stored value. For the displayed value be sure to use [cb:userfield field="FIELD_NAME" /] substitutions. Note [cb:userfield field="FIELD_NAME" /] substitutions are subject to access permissions and the field also needs to be set to display on profile (it can be on a tab in a not shown on profile position though).
