Hi,

Does the CB activity notification be displayed only at the profile page menu bar? It would be great if this notification is shown on the CB login module as well which I assigned to every page. So that users don't miss out much.

You can display it anywhere you like that processes Joomla content plugins using the CB Activity Bot and the below usage.

[cbactivity:notifications /]

That should output the button same as profile and inherit all the default parameters for notifications configured in CB Activity. You can also use the CB Activity Module and set Mode to Notifications to display it as a module wherever you like.

I installed the CB Activity bot and activated it from the backend. If CB login module process Joomla content plugins, then, what would be the steps to take to display the notification button on the module? Where and how to use [cbactivity:notifications /] ? Can this be done from the Joomla backend?

I'd rather put the button in the login module if possible, instead of creating an activity module and assign it to all pages.

Thanks.

The Pre-Text and Post-Text parameters of CB Login Module do not process Joomla content plugins. You'll need to use a CB Activity Module and assign it to the same pages as your CB Login Module.

Using the content plugin is new to me, so I created, out of curiosity, a CB content module and insert [cbactivity:notifications /] in the text field. Well then the module displays [cbactivity:notifications /]. Is it because CB content module doesn't process Joomla content plugins or I didn't do it right?

CB Content Module does not parse content plugins by default. You need to enable that in your modules parameters if you want CB Activity Bot parsing to work there, but I recommend just using a CB Activity Module and adjusting its Mode parameter.
