Hi
I am wondering if there is a way to improve the formatting of text in Gallery and Photo (GroupJive) short descriptions? There seems to be no way to add line breaks, but more seriously, single words are broken up as well. Am I missing something here?
I have attached a screen grab of the issue as I see it, two sets of identical text, with the second set well formatted in the comment, but you can see the problem in the description above it.

HTML and linebreaks are not allowed. It's meant to be a short description of the media. As for it breaking words it should not be doing that. It has the wrong word wrap class on it and have added a bug ticket to investigate that further.

I've also added a feature ticket to review adding some basic parsing behavior to the descriptions so it behaves more like activity posts do in regards to linebreaks.

Okay, that sounds great, much appreciated and thank you. At the moment it really isn't useable to any great extent, so if it is possible to sort this I would really appreciate it.

The word wrapping issues have now been fixed in the latest available build.

That is brilliant support, many thanks! If you can improve the line breaks appearance a bit at some point that would be ideal as well, but this is a big improvement and makes a real difference to the Gallery plugin.

Yup, there are plans to improve support for linebreaks in the same way CB Activity handles them (e.g. no double lines, no excessive tabs, no excessive spaces, etc..).
