Add connection type when request the connection was created by bruntho
Hi everyone,
I'm using CB Connections with mutual requests. I'd like to have the connection type on the "Ask Connection" form (so basically before it has been accepted). How can i do that ?

You can't. Connection type is set on the management page. Things will change significantly once we rewrite CB Connections, but I don't have a timeframe for that.

Thanks for your reply. Do you think it's too complex to modify the addConnection function and add one parameter ? Could it be risky ?

There's no display or storage code for that and there's no trigger for extending the connection request modal window. So yes that would be too complex to implement without core modifications to CB which we do not recommend and can not help you with.
