Sounds like emails are turned off either globally or within CB. If disabled within CB you can enable emails in CB > Configuration > Integrations by setting "Send Emails" to "Yes". If disabled globally you can enable emails in System > Global Configuration > Server by setting "Send Mail" to "Yes".1. The mailer function is currently not enabled.
