Search function for Activity was created by timstohr
Hi Kyle,
My users are requesting a search funktion for CB Activity, ie one where you can search for a word or a sentence and it will find all the relevant posts that you have access to that contain this word or that sentence.
Is there something already in place in CB or is there any way I can make it?

There is no search functionality for CB Activity. It is unlikely there will ever be such a feature, but it's being explored for CB Activity 6.0.0 currently in development.

Most content of an activity stream is not stored in the database but rendered on display. The database mostly contains reference data. The exception is actual user posts of course, which is the only thing that'd be searchable. Best I can suggest is use the filter feature to provide asset based filters they can use to reduce the activity display down to more specific content.
