CB Username as select item for custom field in article

2 years 3 months ago #327853 by pbump
Before CB, I was able to create a custom field of type USER that allowed me to select from a list of existing site users to populate a custom field in an article. It appears this no longer works after CB integration. Is there any addon, workaround, etc. to mimic the same functionality from the cb user table? Thanks for any assistance.

That's the Joomla user field. There's no such field in CB. Best way to have such a field is to use a Text field then use Query Autocomplete provided by CB Query Field. Users can then just start typing and have it autocomplete a user selection. This has functionality to limit the value of the field to a result from the autocomplete as well.
