[SOLVED] URL Issue after Action was created by pixel_wizard
On a group page (eg www.gourmet-society.com/en/groups/europe/munich-gourmet-group/) after adding any content (eg wall post, photo, event) the URL is updated to something like www.gourmet-society.com/en/groups/pluginclass?plugin=cbgroupjive&action=groups&func=show&cat=4&grp=6 so the "/europe/munich-gourmet-group/" section is lost.

The resulting page has the groups page appended below the tab pane of the group page. We don't want this. I'm guessing after an action the URL should look something like www.gourmet-society.com/en/groups/europe/munich-gourmet-group/pluginclass?plugin=cbgroupjive&action=groups&func=show&cat=4&grp=6 to rectify this.

Do you know what's going wrong here?

Sounds like missing Itemid. Did you generate the menu item from GJ backend so it'd be an Internal menu item instead of External? External menu items strip Itemid so you'd lose your rewriting. Please also be sure you're using core SEF only. If using 3rd party SEF please disable and see if issue persists with Joomla SEF.

Thanks for your reply Krileon.

The menu items were created from the GJ backend and I am using the core SEF. Very odd. For the moment I'm hiding the unwanted elements via CSS

Try enabling Dynamic ID within GJ > Config > General > Global. You could also set the Item ID parameter, which will force all of GJs URLs to use the specified Item ID.
