[SOLVED] Recent lots of failed IPN notifcations?

Hey - how's it going?

Just recently, in the last 7 days my cbsubs has suddenly started getting lots of Failed IPN notification... but I'm pretty sure nothing has changed anywhere.

IPN notification not authenticating at payment gateway INVALID

Paypal sent me an email saying that "Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing:"

Whats even more strange is that inbetween the failed IPN are successful ones???

Any idea where I should look?

The notifications that are working are PDT, which are direct returns from PayPal. Seams like IPNs are either failing due to misconfiguration, the IPN URL sent to PayPal is incorrect, or the URL is being blocked (could be hosting firewall, etc..). Within your PayPal account you'll need to check IPN History to see exactly what URL PayPal is using and the response.

ok - emergency over, it looks like it was another plugin causing memory issues which took the site offline.... fixed now
