@all

I found a much easier way to include the login module in content pages. And it is in standard Joomla!

Just add this tag into the content page:

{mosloadposition user8}

Then publish the login module in the position user8.

That's all.

Excellent!

In a previous version I did have my log-in on a separate page but could not remember how I did it

I simply copied the CBLogin module (so it still appears on the left but now also in user8)!! And presto! all is good.

I am unable to reach the download for the module bot, so this was the perfect, easy and fast solution for this morning's headache.

Thank you!

Sorry for being a noob but could you walk me through what you did? I think what you did is what I want but I can't get it to work. I'm using the default Joomla template so there is no 'user8' position.

The magic of this "fix" is that you don't need to have a 'user8' placeholder in your template.

Go to module settings and select user8 (or any un-used position)for that module (in this case, CBLogin)

So now CBLogin will only appear in the position you have assigned.

Then create a content page, or static content - wherever you want the module to appear. At the point in that content where you want the module to show, enter the code tag as follows:

{mosloadposition user8}

Or, in other words:

{mostloadposition thepositionyouset}

Hope that helps?

Also, because I wanted the login to appear on the home page in the left module position, as well as on a separate page -- I copied the module (it's in the admin backend, when you view your list of installed mods). So CBLogin is set for position left, and CBLogin2 is set for user8.
