CB = too difficult to install ! was created by Philippe1972
Hello !

Joomla version 3.3.1
Cb version : 1.9.1 Free version : at this time
Plugins installed :
Kunana forum
adsmanadger

general config SEO activated

Could you please, do a good tutorial to install CB step by step ?
it is incomprehensible...

Step 1 : do that - problem ? solution ? ok, leave step 2
Step 2 : do that - problem ? solution ? ok, leave step 3
...

A lot of bugs like that :

Admin/Composants/CB/
Admin --> when I clik on a user in user managment i have a blank page
Admin --> when I clik on configuration i have a blank page

I did a CB profiler, joom conexion desactived, actived cb login, cb workflow and CB online. If I clik on cb profiler when i'm connected on the site, i have a blank page.

So, nothing really work correctly... and impossible to edit forms... is that a joke ?
For testing a product, a minimum of components need to be editable.

A lot of people asking CB is a good product... I'm not sure it is the reality !

I'm waiting for a solution and if it doesnt work, i'll uninstall it.

Personnaly, I wont pay for a bugged software
I'm not very enjoyed to install that software today...

Hi and welcome to our forums and our site!

Please take some time to read our tutorials and are FAQ articles.

For example:

This one gives you a picture presentation on CB installation:

More picture-book tutorials here:

Regarding blank pages - this is common on Joomla sites that have installed lots of extensions. Most likely you are running out of PHP memory.

We also have a FAQ article about debugging blank pages here:

www.joomlapolis.com/support/faq/101-support/18227-blank-page-issue

and other FAQ articles here:

If your issue is PHP memory related you can follow advise of this article here:

www.joomlapolis.com/support/faq/101-support/18198-memory-issue

You should contact your hosting helpdesk for assistance on increasing PHP memory.

Hope this helps you continue using CB and understanding more about Joomla and PHP.

CB has been installed on my own server.

I tried all solutions to access on CB config panel, but result is the same : blank page !

the error seems to be the php memory, then php.in has been modified that like :

memory_limit : 64M, 128M, 256M, 512M, 1024M and result is the same :
Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 130968 bytes)

I tried to do that .htaccess in admininistrator/:
RLimitMEM MAX MAX

But nothing works.

So... what is the problem ?

What is required in the php.ini ?

I use that software :
Apache 2
php 5.4.30-1~dotdeb.1

I have looked on the web about that error, and some people have fixed the problem by upgrade memory_limit to 512M.

You should make a script testing the joomla, apache and php config to fix the problem.
Enable function or disable...

Waiting about you !

lol... it's a dedicated server ! with 32Go ram.

I think that the problem comes besides. Too much people have that problem. It's the CB code or the joomla code.

For the test, I'm trying to open CB config page.

I tried with memory_limit = -1

It didn't fix it.

so, give me your php.in, I will compare it.

I don't have a dedicated server.

Looks like something is forcing memory to 134M and it could be that your specific server implementation is loading maybe unwanted php libraries which also consume memory.

Sorry, I cannot really help you with this.

If it helps you, I am running a MAMP localhost with Joomla 3.3.1 and CB 191 on PHP 5.3.20 using 32M without any issues.
