Hi

I know this questions is asked a lot, and believe you me I have searched the forum.
But I can't find an answer.

How can I solve this upload issue?
Just give me an url to the thread with the answer please :)

Which folders need to be chmod 777?

Oh, sorry!

I want to upload a picture to my profile.
But when I try to I get the error message:

Error occurred during the moving of the uploaded file.

Cool thanks for the info, try to chmod directory:

from the parent directory:

chmod 755 images/comprofiler

also you might want to double check that the owner of the directory is for example (nobody) apache.

chown nobody.nobody images/comprofiler

It was owner probs and not chmod.

After reading this, thought mine might be owner prob too (with the problem only surfacing after I had asked my webhost to change permission settings for components/com_joomlaboard), but my webhost just confirmed that the folder permissions for images/comprofiler/ are still 755 and no change to the owner. So apparently that ain't the problem. :(
