you know when you install zoom, it says to create directories :
Following directories must be created and afterwards the rights to be changed to "0777":
"images/zoom"
/components/com_zoom/images"
"/components/com_zoom/admin"
"/components/com_zoom/classes"
"/components/com_zoom/images"
"/components/com_zoom/images/admin"
"/components/com_zoom/images/filetypes"
"/components/com_zoom/images/rating"
"/components/com_zoom/images/smilies"
"/components/com_zoom/language"
"/components/com_zoom/tabs"
how do you create directories?
The easy way:
Use your FTP program to login to your websites ftp server and create the directories utilising your particular FTP program.
2nd opinion:
Most hosting companies have a webconfiguration panel with some sort of serverbrowser and most of them can chmod and create directories.
Last thought:
I cannot remmember ever having to create directories manually on a zoom install. It would be trivial for zoom installer to create the directories on install. Maybe the dirs exist when you check them out. if so just leave them be or only chmod them.
