CB Juice Import caused Register Date to Screw up

3 years 3 months ago #291347 by cagoffice

We did a CB Juice import of a select group of existing users back in January of 2016 and only had 3 fields in the import as we wanted the rest of the fields to remain as is in the user's profile.

We have discovered today that the re-import caused the Register Date to be all zeros then the next time the user was in their profile and "saved", it set the Register Date to that date.

We now do not know the exact Register Date of those users.

Is this something that is supposed to happen when we import using CB Juice?

CBJuice2 import will only affect fields that have a column in the CSV file. If you would like assistance, contact me privately.

That's what we thought and that's what came out in the tests, however the next time a person edits that profile and saves, the Register Date changes. It only changes when the profile is edited. Changes it to 00:00:00.

And it only happened to the people that we had "re-imported" some fields to.

Registration date is a user table field (registerDate) that I believe is read only. I can't replicate the issue.
I cannot change it via import either, even if I change field in CB to "NOT read only"

I should clarify:

The users that we are having issues with are ones that we had originally imported using CB Juice back in 2015 (that's when we started our new website and community builder).

It didn't affect users who had applied using our new site and the CB workflows.

It's old users who were "created" by import.
