Wall vs. Kunena Forum in GJ: Usage?

12 years 11 months ago #162349 by Win
GJ is feature-rich, but is there a reason for me to offer my GJ groups BOTH a linked Kunena forum AND a Wall?

If offering both would be a good idea, how would I explain to members when to use each?

If there is no reason for me to offer both, which should I offer? Kunena or Wall?

Thanks for helping me understand this.

Forum is great for back and forth discussions. The wall can somewhat provide this as it has a Reply feature (2.3RC2), but it provides no where near the features of a full fledged forum. For instance Forums provides quoting, code snippets, text formatting, subscribing to posts, etc... It really just depends on your needs.
