Is there a plugin/component to make a Status bar like Facebook? Where when you drop a URL into the status bar it will pull up some intro text and an image from the URL you posted? This is what my project needs the most out of any other feature. I would pay good money to have this. It should be ajax so like facebook when you put the URL in and hit attach it will display a short sample of what the link is all about. This is one of the most popular features of Facebook, yet I've to this day haven't found anyone that has done this. Am I wrong? I really need this capability or my website is doomed from the start.

Link/URL is parsed via AJAX and a short intro text plus image is displayed.

If anyone can create this plugin I will be greatly appreciative. Thank you.
