Hello everyone!

I promise, I did try to find the answer to this - possibly too simple? - question by myself and I also checked your FAQ. For some reason, I just can't figure it out so I really hope someone on here will help me.

We integrated community builder's avatars into the UDDEIM messaging system and it works fine. Until somebody tries to click the avatar (to reach the sender's profile). They get linked to an invalid search page. It works for admins, however, so I'm sure this must be a setting issue.

I tried checking the plugin settings but I couldn't find anything that separated admins from "regular" users. The site wasn't set up by me, so I'm at a bit of a loss with this problem.

Can you post an example for the link?

It should be
http://site/index.php/cb-profile/userprofile/johndoe

If not it might be a SEO problem, maybe a wrong rewrite in htaccess or a SEO component. When using a SEO component maybe you can define an exception for uddeIM.

The link that works (which only admins get) is

www.jaii.com/myprofile/userprofile/janedoe

The one the rest of our users get is

www.jaii.com/members-last-logged-in/userprofile/janedoe

It seems that another component modifies the link. UddeIM creates for all users the same link and gives this to the Joomla framework.

I am sorry, I have no idea how to fix this since it is not an uddeIM problem.

OK, thank you though - at least I know not to look in the UDDEIM settings anymore. It also makes me feel better about not being able to solve it myself
