When I sent a system message uddeIM inserted weird characters like I.E. Â Â Â Â on the e-mail they receive :blush:

Choose UTF-8 in uddeIM backend (system tab).

Ok i'm their but it says,"Usually default (ISO-8859-1) is the correct setting for Joomla 1.0 and UTF-8 for Joomla 1.5." after the language selection box. We are still in 2.5 Why is that?

And what do the Used charset & Used mail charset do? They say, "ISO-8859-1" should I manually change that to UTF-8 also?

Also Encode mail headers says yes does that need be changed at all?
