after updating to Joomla 3.5 the autocomplete function does not work anymore. I tested all possible options from the pulldown menu. I heard that Mootools is enabled when it is needed, but on every Joomla installation I use (many different templates), autocomplete is not working.

Any hints? Thank you!

The autocomplete function does not work for me on J! 3.4.8 either.
(CB 2.0.14 and UddeIM 3.8)

Do you use the MEIO autocomplete?
If this does not work, please check the Javascript error console. Maybe there is a conflict with a plugin or the theme.

I've tested every option in the pulldown menu ... no one works since the update to Joomla 3.5

I don't use MEIO ... for the moment, I use "force MooTools 1.1" because this one worked fine before.

I've made a screenshot: I think there is a problem with Autocompleter2.js but I don't know where to search for the error.

MooTools based autocomplete does no work in Joomla 3.x, this is why MEIO was introduced.

I had missed that setting.
Changed Load Moo Tools from Auto to Do not Load Moo Tools (use MEIO),
and now it works.
Easy solution. Thanks for pointing that out!
