Can you check if you are using "do not load mootools (use MEIO)" or "load mootools 1.3 (use MEIO)" plz? The coude seems ok because uddeIM does use MooTools (the framework may but uddeIM does not use it).

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, with the change in Joomlapolis, I lost track of this thread.
I've just updated to 3.9, just to make sure that it's all new, and even if some file should be modified, that it's now clean.
I couldn't do a 'restore config', I got an SQL error 5000, so I've gone through the config step by step now.
I still see the same problem.

Very strange. The screenshot shows that MooTools is still loaded.

I will check the code again. Sorry but this seems to be a very nasty problem since MooTools should not be loaded when this option is selected.

Can you check uddeIM's config file. The line $mootools should be "6". If not could you edit the file manually and change the value to 6. Maybe the file can not be written and still contains a different value.

If I uninstall uddeim and reinstall it, will I loose the user messages?

Ok, I did a complete backup, uninstalled uddeim, and made sure the folder are gone.
Then reinstalled, and the messages are still there, but it hasn't changed the behaviour.
