[SOLVED] Access to List Not Correctly Assessed

12 years 8 months ago - 12 years 8 months ago #171311 by boyjahq
I'm having CB Subs assign users to a group upon successful registration. The group is a child of "Registered", which I call "Premium".

I have a list that can only be accessed by the child group "Premium".

In CB's user management the user is shown as assigned to: Registered, Premium.

When I access the list, CB denies me saying that I don't have access. Only when I manually remove the user from the Registered group are they allowed access to the list.

I don't care whether a user is assigned to Registered or not so long as they are assigned to the sub-group Premium-- CB Subs does that on its own.

Joomla version: 1.6.3
CB Subs 1.2.2
CB 1.4

This is a known issue with CB 1.4, which has been resolved with CB 1.7. Please upgrade to CB 1.7 and confirm if issue is still present. I also recommend upgrading to J1.6.5. Reviewing userlist management you should be able to see the user is assigned properly, but due to an ACL function bug within CB 1.4 the access to the userlist couldn't be properly determined.
