OK, another update, the fields are showing when in Edit mode, not just viewing the profile. Is that normal when you have the profile unchecked in the Field setting?

Yes, there is no parameter to disable profile edit view unless it's completely unpublished or using CB Privacy to disable its edit display. It should not be displaying in profile view though based off your configuration.
