CBSubs Plan Access Level was created by activha
Hello
We would like to set up a plan visible in frontend only by our moderators on the user profile tab CBSubs, which will allow them to trigger a subscription or a manual gift
This plan has to be visible only to the moderators and not to all other users.
I have tried the plan access tab with :
Visible to access level : registered
Visible for group : special
and tried some other combinations, but did not found the right one for such display
Can you give me an indication of how to achieve it ?

Create a usergroup for your moderators then create a view access level that includes that usergroup and super users. Next set the view access level parameter to your new usergroup and leave the usergroup access parameter as public. However, once the user is subscribed they now have access to the plan as access checks and conditions are then ignored for renewals (we have a feature ticket to review changing this).

Yep that's exactly the settings that I tried for a test donation plan.
It is visible for the moderators on their own profile but visible on the other users profile by the mods only if the view access level parameter is set to register/public also.
Did I miss something ?

Believe the access check maybe based off the profile user object instead of off the viewing user object, but that's technically correct. The best way to do it really is for it to be a backend only plan. Don't think you'll be able to have what you're wanting without some moderator only access feature added and it do that check against the viewing user instead of the displayed user. Probably something to consider when we look to improve renewal conditions and have added a note for that to that ticket.

That won't work as we need to make a donation plan for our users to make special payments or issue manual credit note.
If we do it from the back end we can only subscribe them to the plan but that would not trigger any basket nor payment

If it's for the user to make donations or payments why isn't the user allowed to access it? Sorry, I don't understand your usecase.
