X/Y Grid Option select

X/Y Grid Option select was created by cliffvt
Does anyone have an idea how I can achieve a user selecting one of say two options for 6 different conditions?

So for example, I want to give someone the choice of a menu item for each of the six people in their party without having to create 6 fields each with the same radio buttons, as per below:

Don't see how you're going to do that without making 6 radio fields since you don't want option 1 and option 2 to be selected at the same time per section.

Yeah the problem is that I will need to create around 36 fields then because of the number of items to be selected individually..

I thought maybe a code radio field could do it but I'm stupid with code.. :)

A code radio field just takes your PHP array and uses that for the options. Don't really see how it's going to help you with this. The only way to accomplish what you're wanting without having to make 36 individual fields I guess is to develop a plugin that does exactly what you're wanting. Maybe using something like RSForms to generate a custom HTML form for storage in a separate table would better fit your usage?
