Small bug in Activity? was created by haasdijk
There seems to be a small error in Activity.
I posted a message and wanted to indicate that I was with one of the other members. When I entered the name of that person, using the appropriate button, there was no suggestion of usernames and the entered name ended up without a link to the profile.
When I enter the text @username in the message area, it is transformed into a link to the profile. So the @mention works fine.

There's no bug as there's no auto suggest when using @. That's a feature to be implemented in a later release.

Ok, great. But what's with the use of the tiny button below the message area then. It's not supposed to be a username / profile link?

That's the tags usage. It only links to profiles if you select a connection from the dropdown. If you don't have any connections then the tags are just by name. It will not let you tag someone's profile you are not connected to.
