From the back end I corrected all permissions with ACL and now I cannot change back the permissions of CBsubs setting page to re authorize mods or even admins.

Seems like the error is a js one :

TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'document.getElementById("jform_title").value')
sendPermissions — permissions.js:1:853
onchange — index.php:4108
sendPermissions — permissions.js:1:853

So this is with latest builds as of today's post (4.1.1+build.2017.11.10.22.34.28.88a20744b for CBsubs) and joomla 3.8.2 and CB 2.1.3+build.2017.11.16.20.21.51.1a2f01fa1)

thanks for a quick workaround as we cannot invoice or subscribe our users from the frontend any longer except by superadmin which I'd like to avoid
