[#7045] STRIPE SEPA

Ok have updated to latest build and reset a clean cbsubs on the dev website.

First recurring subscription with SEPA payment went fine and all data are properly configured as recurring both on CBsubs and on Stripe Dashboard.

I have tried with a small period of 1 hour but got errors from Stripe about a wrong period and had to come back to a 1 day test plan. So we'll see tomorrow but all should be ok

I have complicated the system by issuing a partial refund of 1$ on the recurring subscription. Once again all went fine on CBsubs and on Stripe test dashboard with the correct partial refund logged in stripe events.

However on CBsubs front end, issuing a partial refund makes that the invoice disappear from the customer invoice list on its profile cbsubs page.
The customer should have two invoices, one with the first data and the second with the amount reimbursed. That would be much better for him.
Or as invoice = basket, that may be enough to have the initial invoice with a new line showing the amount partially/totally refunded.

Shortest duration Stripe allows is 1 day so 1 hour won't be possible to test. I've done multiple 1 day tests now with recurring working fine so should work fine in your test as well.

CBSubs doesn't generate a new basket for refunds as Basket = Invoice in CBSubs. That's not something that'd be Stripe specific though. Topic needs to strictly be in regards to SEPA payments in Stripe.

OK so I leave the tests running with SEPA for a couple of days and if there is no surprises we can consider it done :-)

After a few days of tests, it seems that the recurring function works well with SEPA on stripe side.
I have though still payments marked as non recurring in the website backend. Only the first payment is marked as recurring and then the following ones are not.
From the front end side, the user has only one invoice, the first one, and payment is marked at the date of the day each day. This is not good, the user should have one invoice per payment in that case.
So I guess that something is going wrong.

There’s no errors recorded in that logs this time.
Mind to check what does wrong ?

Don't know what you mean by this. The payments only list how much was received in CBSubs > Payments. Recurring amount should be under the recurring column. This is no different to other gateways in this regard. The important part is that the subscription is marked recurring in CBSubs > Subscriptions.

From the front end side, the user has only one invoice, the first one, and payment is marked at the date of the day each day. This is not good, the user should have one invoice per payment in that case.

That is not how CBSubs works and has never worked that way. A new basket is not generated for recurring payments. If you want a basket per payment then don't use recurring payments.

So I guess that something is going wrong.

Sounds like everything is working as intended.
