[#7101] CB Privacy fields not visible on profile view was created by haasdijk
I have created an extra tab for privacy settings and want to place the fields of cb privacy on it.
I've managed to do that but I can only see them when I do a profile-edit. It should also be possible, according to the documentation of the add-on, to show the fields (as a link) in profile-view. The field settings are OK but they do not appear. Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

There is no profile view output for a privacy field. They will only display and work in profile edit. No idea what documentation you're referring to. Have added a feature ticket to review implementing profile view output of privacy fields if the viewing user is the profile owner or a moderator. It'd then force enable the ajax usage so privacy can be changed from profile view.

You're right. I was referring to the video about this subject but the field is only visible on the profile in edit mode.
Sorry about that.
Adding the feature of viewing these fields on ones own profile is a good idea and exactly what i wanted to implement.
