About Terms & conditions field (GDPR needed)

5 years 10 months ago #304272 by lucablue
Hi,
I'm using the parameter acceptedterms into registration as needed but for the new GDPR in EU it's needed also keep the data when user accept terms.
Any plug in or modify to this field to keep both if it is accepted and when the user click last time on that ?

Tnx

Don't understand what you're asking. Please see my reply below to a similar topic regarding being GDPR compliant.

They either accept the terms and register or they don't accept them and can't register. You do not have to allow registration while not accepting the terms.

I think lucablue is asking about recording proof that the user ticked the box to accept, which we are required to keep as proof of consent. We achieve this through the use of CB Profile Update Logger - not only does it store it in the database, but it shows it on the User profile and it sends an email to us

(example: L123min has updated their profile. Changed: 2. Pending Changes: 0.
cb_dataprivacy: "0" to "1"
cb_consent: "0" to "1")

This is perfect for record of proof.
