I assume you're using "Logout Post-text" to output the notification icon there and not a login module trigger? You could just include the text directly next to your substitution in that case. Aside from that you'd have to modify the template files to add text or use the activity_onAfterDisplayNotificationsStreamButton trigger in a Code action in CB Auto Actions to output your text. Template files can be found below.

/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbactivity/templates/default

Specifically that's the notifications_button.php template file. You'll need to make a new folder in /templates next to default then copy the notifications_button.php then make your changes to avoid changes being lost when you update CB Activity.

Thanks Kyle,

I'm actually using the CB Activity module to display the notification under the CB Login module. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Also, what does this notify the user exactly? Post likes, post replies, conection request, etc?

I'm actually using the CB Activity module to display the notification under the CB Login module. Not sure if that makes a difference.

That may make it even easier as you could just create a layout override for the CB Activity module then add your text there. You can find the default layout below.

/modules/mod_cbactivity/tmpl/default.php

See the below on how to use Joomla layout overrides.

docs.joomla.org/Layout_Overrides_in_Joomla

Also, what does this notify the user exactly? Post likes, post replies, conection request, etc?

They'll on receive notifications in CB Activity if you've published the necessary System Actions in CB Auto Actions otherwise they won't be notified of anything.

OK, I was able to add the "Notifications" after fa-globe by editing the notifications_button.php file.

Regarding auto actions. Is there any documentation on this or examples? The only examples I see is for auto actions is for only logging in.

Thanks you

Once CB Auto Actions is installed and published navigate to CB > Plugin Management and click System Actions under CB Auto Actions. Review the available system actions carefully as they all have titles for their purpose with a short description of what they do. All notification system actions for example directly say Notification in their title. Simply publish the ones you want to use.
