Guestbook - Owner edit rights was created by paxx
Hi
I understand that the owner of the guest book could edit, delete and unpublish post´s that are made.
Normal behavior.
But I really need that it´s only moderators that could edit, delete or unpublish post´s that are made in the guestbook.
The reason for this is that I´m using the guest book for users to post review´s on other users profile.
How can I accomplish this? If possible. (I´m hoping that it is possible).
If this is not possible, is there another way to have users writing a review on other users profile´s without that the profile owner could edit, delete or unpublish post´s.
I understand that the owner of the guest book could edit, delete and unpublish post´s that are made.

It's not possible to disable that functionality without modifying the plugin extensively. You could instead use a Comment field provided by CB Activity to hold the reviews. Profile owners have no control over those. Only the user that made the comment and CB Moderators will be allowed to delete them.

Thank you for your reply.
That sounds interesting with a comments field and surely something that I´ll try.
Only thing is that I have no clue of how to accomplish this.
Would be greatful for any assistans of how to put a comments field in the user profile.
And, if possible, also have the star rating field visible.

Once CB Activity is installed and published simply create a new field of type Comment.Would be greatful for any assistans of how to put a comments field in the user profile.
You could have a regular rating field displayed just above the comment field. This way they can choose to rate, review, or both. Beyond that it's not possible to add rating with a comment as the comment usage has no such feature.And, if possible, also have the star rating field visible.
