[SOLVED] User Admin Group was created by MarylandShallIssue
Hi. I'm trying to set up a group in Joomla to allow create and update of users only. I've been able to configure a group to do most of this, though I want to limit access to tabs management, field management and CB Configuration. I am also still showing group assignments in the profile tab for these users under User Management and I'd like to restrict this as well.

I did see that CB Privacy has some field level capabilities but your tutorial doesn't go into too many details. I'm afraid that CB Privacy will be turned on for all users and user groups and I only need it to be for this specific group of user admins.

Thanks.

CB Privacy is for frontend privacy controls of tabs, fields, and profiles. It won't help with backend permissions. For backend permissions you'll need to access each view (e.g. CB > Tab Management) then click the Permissions button on the top Joomla menu bar. From there you can adjust the usergroup permissions for that view then repeat for the other views as needed.

Thanks. I had forgotten about the Permissions button on the admin pages. I think that did the trick.
