Hello,
authors are not shown for public and normal registered logged in users, but just for moderators... But profiles are public and the names can be seen and profile can be opened in kunena for example... What setting could do that?

Names shown outside of profile are almost entirely using the formatname field. Ensure it's set to display on profile and is on a tab with Public access. It can be moved to a tab in a not shown on profile position if you don't want it actually visible on profile.
