Latest findings to help you guys out in troubleshooting.. it seems to be better when I disabled the antispam plugin.. am still monitoring the situation..

Yeaps, Antispam has been off for 4 hours and the Database seems to be behaving..

I will on Antispam and perhaps disable the blocking and logging to see if this is the cause..

There's around 4 locations that the username and alias query is being performed. It's fixed and awaiting review for merge so we can release the fix.

There's no such queries in CB AntiSpam. If you have not run the cleaning process on CB AntiSpam at all it's possible the Log and Attempts have both built up a rather large amount of database rows. Ideally you should have a CRON task setup to run the clean up URL provided in CB AntiSpam > Parameters > Cleanup. CB AntiSpam has one join of the _users table, but profiling it against a million rows it is performing fine. I'm not aware of any slow queries in CB AntiSpam, but if you find any please let us know.

You are quite right, now we are getting about 4488 con-current users, the query is queuing up again..

Glad to know that you guys are already working on the fix.. do let me know when you the release is ready..

This has now been fixed in latest build release released today. It has now been tested against 1 million rows taking less than 1ms to run.

Is is this file right: pkg_communitybuilder_2.4.5+build.2020.05.07.21.35.06.e8f8a6125.zip

Does the other plugins require updates as well?
