Textarea with html behavior? was created by ericmuc
Hi,

I have a textarea field in a group field and uses "Custom Display Rows" for output.

The field I am using as [field_cb_cv_description] in the "Custom Display Rows".

It works but I have following situation:

If the user adds for example some text with <xxx>, nothing is saved and no message appears before. So the user is not informed by this before and is loosing his new text.

I have set no validation and so on. So it should be able to store text with <xxx>, or not?

Thanks a lot, best regards
Eric

A textarea field is exactly that, text. If you want to allow HTML you have to use an editor field. Sanitizing is not the same as validation so it's of course not going to throw a validation error.

Depends on the parameter. What parameter are you wanting to be a language string?
