Avatar of "Community Builder Login module" ajax editing member list

3 years 6 months ago #320882 by ericmuc
Hi,

I am using the module "Community Builder Login module" with the avatar in the toolbar at the top of the site.

I set the ajax editing of the field avatar display and strict as "enabled".

By this I can edit the profile avatar in the frontend and the avatar of "Community Builder Login module" at the top of my site cannot be edited.

That is ok so far.

Now I have a menu item with a member list (not a submenu of the cb profile).

And if I switch to the member list, the avatar of the "Community Builder Login module" shows also a frontedit pencil.

How can I disable this? Do you have an idea?

Thanks, best regards
Eric

Strict mode is just checking the URL so it's working as intended. There isn't any more information to go off of to determine EXACTLY where the field is being rendered to prevent this. It's typically best to just not enable userlist ajax editing for avatar if you're also displaying it on every page in the module. That's basically the only field impacted by this issue. I've added a feature ticket to see if strict mode can be improved any further, but it's unlikely since there's no more information to go off of.

Hi,
Ahhh, thanks, I disabled ajax for userlist, that was the fault.
That is ok for me now.
Best regards
